Established in 1992 under the name Double-E Promotions, our initial mission was to help clients achieve their objectives by providing consultation in event management, marketing, sponsorship, and fundraising. We developed solid expertise in project management, and established a track record for taking suffering programs and dramatically increasing participant numbers and overall revenue.
In 1998, co-founder, Eileen Bistrisky, became sole owner of the company. She re-positioned it as Effective Event Management, and continued to develop strategies for product launches, sampling programs, grand openings, and fundraisers for clients such as Coca-Cola, Starbucks, VanCity, and BC Cancer Foundation.
As Eileen’s involvement in association management and strategic planning grew, she complemented her years of practical experience with an Executive MBA in Management Consulting and by earning her CMC designation. The focus of our consulting services evolved to help clients define and achieve their objectives in all aspects of their organizations.
Wanting our work to have a positive impact, we re-branded as Effective Leadership Consulting, and now seek to help clients become collaborative leaders who empower teams to profitably benefit people and the planet.
